Inpaint mode
In the website header you can switch the mode from Generate mode to Inpaint.
Use Inpaint mode to edit particular areas on your image:
- Upload your image
- Select area(s) you would like to change - image parts outside of selection won't be modified.
- Select one of three options in Inpaint mode which affects inpainting behavior:
- Add object: adds a new object to the image selected area(s) (also a good option for face refining)
- Edit object: changes object(s) in the selected area(s) while preserving a silhouette (good choice for changing character's outfit or body parts)
- Refine: performs a post-render clean-up while preserving most of original image (good choice for cleaning up edges, removing "brushy" effect and making selected area homogenous)
P.s.: If the Inpaint add isn't working properly, then most likely you are either trying to add a very small object on top of a very large one (eg flowers on top of a mountain), or you are trying to add an object in a very contrasting area. You can prepare the basis in a third-party software (eg MS Paint) to get better results.
